Veterinary Services

Our mission at West Milton Veterinary Clinic is to provide the highest level of veterinary care to enable pets to live a long, healthy, and happy life.  Dr. Paige Theuring and her dedicated team believe it is important to build trust and personal relationships with every client and patient, which is why we approach each interaction with respect and compassion.

Services We Offer

Dr. Paige Theuring recommends a complete physical exam for your pet on a yearly basis to monitor their overall health and to prevent any lapse in prescription medications. The staff at West Milton Veterinary Clinic will advise you regarding your pet’s need for vaccinations, parasite prevention, and all other aspects of your pet’s wellness based on your and your pet’s lifestyle. We use the latest technology to keep digital medical records and our team is always happy to facilitate record requests from groomers, boarding facilities, insurance companies, and rescue groups when you are adopting a new family member.

Dr. Paige Theuring performs a variety of surgeries each week in the surgical suite at West Milton Veterinary Clinic. We offer pet spaying, neutering, and cat declawing along with soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. If your pet has a need for a more involved surgical procedure, Dr. Theuring maintains professional relationships with a number of specialists and will be happy to offer a referral. If your pet requires surgery or hospitalization, we are fully equipped to care for your companion as if it were our own. Patient comfort while hospitalized is an important part of our post-surgical care routine and does not stop at monitoring vital signs and managing pain, but also includes utilizing patient warming systems and a little extra TLC from our staff.
West Milton Veterinary Clinic has a state-of-the-art laboratory and radiograph machine on-site, producing same day results and x-rays that allow Dr. Paige Theuring to diagnose and treat your pet quickly and accurately. In addition to bloodwork, stool and urine samples, we process ear cytologic samples and fungal cultures in our office. We maintain a close relationship with an outside diagnostic laboratory for times when a more comprehensive evaluation is needed.
We at West Milton Veterinary Clinic understand deciding to say goodbye to a pet who has been your loving companion for many years is one of the most difficult decisions to make. Our team will be there to guide you with compassion through each step of the process and will help your pet pass peacefully and with dignity through humane euthanasia. If you are unsure what the right decision is, Dr. Paige Theuring offers a quality of life assessment in order to know what paths lie ahead so you can make the most informed decision when the time is right.

Whether you choose euthanasia or your pet passes at home, we offer cremation services through Snider Pet Crematory, part of Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home. They offer multiple cremation packages to fit your needs.

West Milton Veterinary Clinic is excited to offer laser therapy to promote natural healing and pain relief. Dr. Paige Theuring uses laser therapy to improve healing time, reduce pain, increase circulation, and decrease swelling. Ask if laser therapy is the right option for your pet.
West Milton Veterinary Clinic believes dental care is as important for your pet as it is for you. Preventive care with teeth brushing, dental diets, and specialty chews can help keep your pet’s teeth clean and gums healthy. Thorough professional cleanings can prevent tooth loss and gum disease. Dr. Paige Theuring offers affordable routine exams and cleanings.

Signs of dental problems include bad breath, drooling, bleeding, swelling, and changes in eating habits to name a few. If your pet develops dental problems, we recommend scheduling an assessment with Dr. Theuring who will offer a detailed estimate of treatment costs.

For your convenience, West Milton Veterinary Clinic has an in-house and an online pharmacy where we offer a complete line of flea, tick and heartworm protection, prescription diets, and prescription medications for your pet’s specific health needs. When Dr. Paige Theuring determines your pet needs medication, our team is able to fill the prescription immediately so you can administer it right away. We are happy to fulfill refill requests with 24 hours notice and if it is more convenient for you to use a local pharmacy, we will work with them to make sure your pet’s medications are accessible.
West Milton Veterinary Clinic uses 24PetWatch microchips. Having a permanent microchip placed in your pet is one of the most reliable ways of finding a lost pet and is easily done anytime. If your pet is scheduled for a spay or neuter, Dr. Paige Theuring will implant the chip during the surgery at a discounted rate. If you have found a lost pet, our team can scan it for a chip for a quick and happy reunification.
